It travels 470 kilometres journey in 8 hours 5 minutes, with 5 halts in between, with the average speed of 58 kmph. The 12928 / 12927 Baroda Express is a Superfast Express train, provides daily connectivity between World’s largest Statue (Statue of Unity) & Commercial capital of India (Mumbai) and This train is still popular as "Baroda Express" because earlier this train was providing connectivity between Vadodara & Mumbai, prior of inauguration of Ekta Nagar (earlier known as Kevadiya) with Rail connectivity, Around January 2019, This train was extended till Ekta Nagar from Vadodara.
