@ककनमठ मंदिर - एक रात में भूतों ने बनाया था ये शिव मंदिर? Kakanmath Temple History & Mystery in Hindi
This video is based on my trip to Kakanmath Mandir(ककनमठ मंदिर) which is located in Morena, Madhya Pradesh(ककनमठ मंदिर मुरैना) and I will be telling you about the Kakanmath Temple history in hindi. Kakanmath Temple(ककनमठ का मंदिर) is known to be a 1000 year old mysterious temple(ककनमठ वीडियो) and for this reason people often search for Kakanmath Mandir ka rahasya(ककनमठ मंदिर का रहस्य) or Kakanmath ka Rahasya(ककनमठ का रहस्य). Not only people search for its history in Hindi but also they want to know about Kakanmath Temple history in Telugu, Kannada and Tamil. Kakanmath ka Mandir(ककनमठ की वीडियो) was built by kachhapghat king Kirtiraj(Kakanmath kisne banaya) and Kakanmath mandir Morena is located in Sihoniya village. Not only I will be telling you about Kakanmath Temple history, but also all other details about Kakanmath mandir Madhya Pradesh. It is said that whoever tries for Kakanmath temple night stay is not considered safe. Kakanmaṭh is known to be a ruined 11th century Shiva temple which is situated at Sihoniya in Madhya Pradesh state of India. It was made by the Kachchhapaghata ruler Kirttiraja. Only a small part of the original temple complex is still surviving. Some of the sculptures from this site is now situated at Gwalior. The work for Kakanmath temple was started by Kachchhapaghata ruler Kirttiraja (r. c. 1015-1035 CE). This can be read from a Kachchhapaghata inscription that was found at the Sas-Bahu Temple in Gwalior. The inscription clearly states that Kirttiraja built an extraordinary temple that is devoted to Parvati's lord (Shiva) at Siṁhapānīya (modern day village Sihoniya). As per a folk legend, this temple was named "Kakanmadh" after Kakanavati or Kakanade, who was the queen of raja Kirtiraja. However, the historicity of this legend is said to be doubtful. Another possibility is that the temple's name derived from kanak (gold) and maṭha (shrine). Originally, this temple site had a temple complex, which had a central temple that was surrounded by 4 subsidiary shrines. Only the central temple's ruins stand now: its outer walls, the balconies as well as a part of its spire have fallen down. Most probably, this damage happened during an earthquake. A Sanskrit-language pillar which has an inscription dated 1[4]50 VS (1393-94 CE) says that the renovation of the Mahadeva temple (which is, Kakanmath) by one Durgaprasada. A 1497 VS (1440-41 CE) pillar inscription states that the visit of a pilgrim named Dekhana in the times of Dungara (a Tomara ruler of Gwalior). It mentions that Dekhana was the son of Kakaka, as well as a resident of Nalapuragaḍha. Now, this ruined temple has been classified as a Monument of National Importance by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). The temple can be seen standing on an ornate base (pitha). The building includes a sanctum, a vestibule, as well as two halls (gudha-mandapa and mukha-mandapa). The sanctum has a circumambulatory path which has three transepts. The gudha-mandapa has lateral transepts, as well as four clusters of pillars; each of which contains four pillars. The vestibule is known to have four pillars in a row, which are aligned with the four clusters of the gudha-mandapa. The shikhara (tower) of the temple makes it around 30 m high. The steps at the entrance had two large lion statues, which are now located at the entrance of the Archaeological Museum, Gwalior. Many other sculptures have also been taken to Gwalior.
