Winner of the 2005 Lester Horton award, choreographed by Anna Djanbazian & performed at the UCLA Freud Playhouse, this contemporary two act ballet, inspires the viewer with the divine language of the human soul through the art of dance. Weaved with live percussion, singing, poetry recitation & improvisational signed movement, is inspired by the meeting of the mystics, poets & philosophers Molana Jalaleddin Rumi & Shams of Tabriz in the 13th. century. Rumi has inspired artists, seekers of truth, those walking the path of enlightenment with his words.
