I was expecting a place full of bustling markets and diverse tastes. But I got much more during my trip to the city on Bosporus. I walked on its bridges packed with patient fishermen, stepped inside colossal temples and discovered old rooftops, watching the skyline made of countless domes and minarets. What really earned my respect for the city was the eagerness of local people to convince you that there is always some time for kind talk and a cup of Turkish tea.
