You probably eat most of these foods almost everyday, so you may want to remove them from your shopping list and keep them on the shelf. The food is processed meats like deli meats, hot dogs, bacon and sausage. They can be harmful to your skin because they contain a lot of sulfite, sodium and saturated fats which can all dehydrate the skin and weaken collagen. The food is butter or margarine. Studies have shown and I’ve included study links down below, that people who eat butter or margarine have more wrinkles and skin damage than people who don’t. And margarine is even worse than butter because it’s high in hydrogenated oils which makes your skin more vulnerable to ultraviolet radiation which can damage your skin’s collagen and elasticity. The food is white bread which is high on the glycemic index which causes inflammation directly linked to the aging process. The food is added sugars which, in addition to acne, can cause damage to your skin’s collagen. And the next food is ones fried in oil like French fries. The frying process releases free radicals that can cause damage to your skin cells.
