After months of planning and preparation - just like that - the British Style Collective is wrapped for another year. This was a huge year because it was the first time the event (which has been known as the Clothes Show for the past 28 years) was in Liverpool and we couldn't have been hosted by a more welcoming, fashion-loving and hospitable city. Over the three day event I was hosting at St George's Hall, a magnificent building where I interviewed fashion insiders and hosted panel discussions talking about fashion, style, confidence, and what it is really like working in the fashion industry. It never feels like work, talking to people who have become friends and I admire like Hilary Alexander, Caryn Franklin, Glamour Magazine's Jo Elvin, Alessandra Steinherr, Jules von Hep and so many more. This is only a snippet, a snapshot of what happened but here you go, a bit of what I got up to last weekend at the British Style Collective.
