Anyiko Owoko's video: Uganda s Lamu on Tanzanian Roots Empawa New EP

Meet Uganda's Lamu. The singer recently shot to fame thanks to her hit single "Something About You" which was released via Empawa Africa. She was among the 100 African artists granted funding to film a music video by Mr. Eazi's artist incubator project. Lamu states that Empawa came at the right time as she had just decided to start pursuing a career in music. It was a great kickstarter and now Lamu is ready to use the connections and fans she's gathered to far to show what more she can do. We talked about plans to release an EP, her East African roots & what music means to her, deep down. It was so amazing to interview you!
