She sings it beautifully with Philip Masure providing amazing accompaniment. Here I have made my own arrangement of the song and I can only hope that I have done it justice. The Mormond Braes (or Hills) are three miles north-east of Strichen in Aberdeenshire. The song refers to a wee bonnie lass from that area who with an optimistic mindset intends to bounce into a new relationship after the loss of her previous love. Fair play to her!
