In this "How to play in DADGAD" lesson, I teach you what I call the "Minor DADGAD skeleton scale". It's the D minor scale up the guitar neck with the addition of an interval of a third. This Celtic sounding scale is a great one to build upon for accompanying Irish music. You can then add any rhythm you want to this pattern and jump around the fretboard. It's a great way to get creative and I've come up with a lot of melodies and chord sequences this way.
