In a blatant act of violation of Rules and Laws, a cement factory of Ambuja Cements was found contaminating the groundwater by dumping effluents and waste chemicals. As a result, adjoining farms are receiving lethal chemical laced water. In additional fly ash from this factory has destroyed crops. Farmers allege that the competent authority has also favored the company rather than taking action against them.
