@Growth of Mute Swan family, Summer 2018: Richmond UK

Documenting the growth of a Mute Swan (Cygnus olor) family, Summer 2018: Richmond, UK. I knew this same family from fresh fledglings (very emotional watching them grow!) at Pen Ponds, an absolute joy to interact with (having the parents trust you) as progressed over the coming weeks. I felt like Malinowski engaging in anthropological participant-observation, only this was a different species! Sexual dimorphism is slight, males having on average a larger bill knob. I'm looking forward to visiting them again soon this year as fully grown adults, of which i also hope to document.
