They are visited by Shou’s superior, who wishes to know why Shou hasn’t been successful in his current research. To show them who’s boss, Basque kicks the Elric brothers out of the house. The brothers decide they must sneak back into Shou’s home to speak with him one last time. To their dismay, they learn the truth about his research.
