Alusión múltiple: por un lado al compositor griego Mikis Theodorakis (1925), autor del tema central del film Alexis Zorba, (Zorba the Greek / Zorba, el griego, 1964), dirigido por el greco-chipriota Michael Cacoyannis (1922-2011). El tema musical y la danza que lo acompaña –creados para la película– son conocidos como ‘la danza de Zorba’, aunque la danza, caracterizada por variar su velocidad de lenta a rápida, se conoce como sirtáki (o syrtáki).
