Art of Adventure's video: Fishing for Big NEW ZEALAND Rainbows

What an amazing day of trout fishing! Definitely one for the memory books. We arrived in the mountains of central New Zealand with only 2 days to explore the area and hopefully land a few decent trout, without much knowledge of the area we were just hoping there would be trout in the creek where we ended up, lucky for us the fishing was great. We both managed to land some nice trout, unfortunately no browns but a handful of nice rainbows. Compared to back home these were some solid trout, maybe not in New Zealand standards but they sure put up a good fight on the 6lb setups. Can't wait to return to these mountains next year, explore some new terrain and hopefully some more trout.
