Artiphilia's video: Ep7 Day8-Chandratal-Chhatru-Rohtang-Manali Ride to Spiti

------------- Chandratal lake: The night was chilly in Chandratal dipping below -4 degree Celsius. The next morning we woke up to witness the frozen dew everywhere. We departed from Chandratal after having breakfast and then reached Batal, which is the first point from Chandratal after getting into the main highway. You can find few Dhabas here in Batal. After Batal we came across the worst stretch in this route, with so many water passes that many vehicles struggle to get through these patches. After a 32 km ride from Bataal we reached Chhatru, we had our lunch here and proceeded further again on these bumpy off-road. The 20 km ride from Chhatru till Gramphu is yet in a continuation of the treacherous and backbreaking route with several water-passes that one has ever imagined. By reaching Gramphu we took a sigh of relief and ascended towards Rohtang Pass, the second pass in our journey which is 13 km from Gramphu and'elevated at 3,978 m. After Rohtang Pass, we then descended and reached Marhi which is 17 km from Rohtang. From Marhi we ride for an hour by covering 35km to reach Manali.
