On the 6th day of our Spiti Valley bike trip, our plan was to visit the nearest high-altitude villages to Kaza, which included Langza, Hikkim, and Komic. Our journey started from Kaza, and we set out towards Langza. Langza is known for its marine fossils, and from this village at an elevation of 14,550 feet, you can also get a view of the Chou Chou Kang Nelda peak. Upon reaching this village, we saw the Buddha statue. After Langza, we proceeded towards Komic, which is located at a distance of approximately 10 km. Komic village, situated at an elevation of around 15,027 feet, is one of the highest motorable villages in the world. Another attraction here is the Tangyud Monastery, which is over 500 years old and is considered one of the highest monasteries in India. About 4 km from Komic, we reached Hikkim, famous for having the world's highest post office and polling station. However, due to the approaching evening, we decided to head back to Kaza.
