Held in Fall 2020, the Sustainability Symposium: Convergence highlighted sustainability research within Penn State's College of Arts and Architecture to foster collaboration with the Penn State Sustainability research community and beyond. Presentation Speakers: Ann C. Clements, Ph.D., Director, Center for Pedagogy in Arts and Design, Professor of Music Education Yasmine Abbas, D.Des., Assistant Teaching Professor of Architecture Eric McKee, Ph.D., Professor of Music Theory The Center for Pedagogy in Arts and Design (C-PAD) aspires to unite scholars, artists, designers, and everyone in between over a shared passion for the advancement of art and design in academia. The C-PAD Innovators in Residence, who also serves as the Sustainability Faculty Teaching Fellow, will discuss their sustainability research with teaching and their approaches to transfer sustainability research knowledge into education. The first cohort of the College of Arts and Architecture Sustainability Faculty Teaching Fellows were identified through a selection process.
