Arturas Bumšteinas's video: Olympian Machine installation in theater

excerpt from the performance in Art's Printing House, Vilnius, 2018. http://www.refusenik.org/works/2018-2/olympian-machine/ Audio-play for voices; presented as a live audiovisual installation of 12 individual loud-speakers and a mapped video projection During the recording of this piece 12 people were invited to the sound studio and each of them was read a 4-page summary of Homer's "Iliad". Then each person was given 1 hour of individual time to record what he/she remembers from the story not avoiding various digressions from the text (the subjective filter of the memory and fantasy was naturally applied to the "Iliad" in each individual case).
