With a whim of an idea, and romantic gestures in mind, Chris heads upstairs to find his wife, who's on the computer working, to tell her he wants to take her to do something special today. After explaining his idea of taking her to do everything she's always wanted to do, but never got the chance to, Ashley and Chris head to a Cafe they've never been to called The Victorian Cafe for a nice outside meal where they have brunch. At The Victorian Cafe in Downtown Bend they enjoy a nice meal of Hobo Potatoes, Eggs Benedict, Chai Tea, and Cinnamon Tea while watching the birds and the cars go by. What a romantic brunch, right? After brunch, they decide to take an outdoor adventure to Benham Falls. On the beautiful forest drive to Benham Falls, they decide to drive through the luxury neighborhood and take a look at the dream home. After a bit a dreaming, it's back on the trail to Benham Falls. When they arrive at their destination, they receive wind that they need a recreation pass to enjoy the nature. Without one, they decide to ask a couple standing at the Benham Falls Trail Head where they got their pass. A few jokes later, the couple agrees to give Ashley and Chris their pass in exchange for a ride back to their car, about 2-3 miles up the road at the Big Eddy Trail Head. Once the deal was complete it was time to finally enjoy Benham Falls. It was GORGEOUS! Chris was in awe at Ashley and her exquisite destination picking skills. After enjoying the forest, and running around like ninjas, it's time to enjoy some dinner at The Pine Tavern. The luxurious meal was fit for kings, something Ashley and Chris had never experienced before.
