She lives in an inspiring & sacred place. Just a few meters away from the complex of the amazing funerary temple of King Ramses III ( known as Habu). The ethereal artwork of Katrina Vrebalovich is like drifting into the elixir of dreams, full of shimmering light and atmospheric glimmerings. She is an alchemist of abstracts, experimenting with colors, textures, and materials to create her visions of the sublime, influenced by ancient Egyptian mythology and Mother Earth herself. She often refers to the cosmos in the titles of her work, and indeed, she embraces the otherworldliness of the creative insights of her art to transport both herself and her viewer into another world beyond our own. Her purpose, she says, is “a universal message of unification, peace and unconditional love.” Katrina’s paintings, murals, mosaics, and jewelry all capture her passionate energy and joy for life. A lifelong resident of Egypt with deep-rooted family ties, she resides in Luxor.
