NEW YORK, April 15, 2023 — Opera singer and composer Qian Yi performs an excerpt of the Infernal Judgment from “The Peony Pavilion” during the symposium “To Hell and Back.” Yi is accompanied by traditional Chinese lute player Guo Zhaoshun and Wu Liang, percussionist and executive and managing director of the New York Chinese Opera Society.
