I usually stick to the left wheel track in on this part of the road to add a buffer but there was actually another bike right up my bum in the left wheel track. I probably should have just assertively moved over and taken up the left wheel track. 0:20 White car moves to the left lane (presumably to let me overtake and not right-lane hog), but then the lane ends (surprising us both). This was the first day they'd changed the lane markings and so I thought the white car's lane would continue. 0:44 Red light runner 0:58 Lady in the Merc undertakes me as I'm leaving space for cars to turn. Up ahead I realise she's texting on the phone. I know my lane position here is contraversial - some will tell me I should stick to the middle of the lane as this will not allow the car to go around me. I should probably point out that there are currently no laws in Queensland against changing lanes within an intersection (just against changing lanes over a solid white line).
