22 year old left back Tyler Blackett broke into the Manchester United first team last season and was deployed as the left centre back in Louis Van Gaal's 3-5-2 formation which highlighted his ability to be used as a versatile utility player. After a loan spell at Scottish champions Celtic this season, Tyler Blackett will be looking to impress Jose Mourinho in pre-season ahead of the start of the 2016/2017 season where he will be competing for a place in the defence with the likes of new boy Eric Bailly. Born in Manchester to Jamaican and Barbadian parents, he is eligible for all three nations an senior level as he has not played a competitive senior match for either country yet. He has been called up to numerous England youth team squads however a call up to either Jamaica or Barbados is still possible with both countries keeping tabs on the young defender.
