Together, they tell a story of ego and self-deprecation, of love and loss, of friends and enemies, of harm and recovery, and the process of self-realization. This is not my favourite album. It might not be your favourite album. I can see so many flaws in my own work I don't know where the flaws end and the artistry begins. But it's mine. For once I've produced a complete work without external forces assisting in my creative vision. And that is something I am immensely proud of. Thank you for taking the time to listen to LOST AND FOUND, time you could have spent doing something—anything—else. I hope these tracks can mean more to you than they ever could to me. I hope you can see yourself inside the rhythms, I wish for you to create your own narratives around these lyrics. Thanks for spending your time with me. ☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰ STORY // (1) - we all walk the road ☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰ The road spilled out before the assembled six, a mess of loose asphalt and dirt that rolled up and down the subtle hills, disappearing into the barren winter trees at the far end of the plain. Twilight took a breath, steeling herself against the chilly, biting air. Her five best friends milled about behind her, each one as silent as the next as they assessed the snake of grey spreading out from underneath them. "Are we ready?" Twilight's tentative voice broke forth, the broken nature of her first syllable betraying her true emotions at this tipping point. There was no response, but there was no dissent, either. "What horrors will await us?" she whispered, low enough so only she could hear. The wind blew through her purple-accented hair, causing her to shiver absentmindedly and wrap her cloak snugly around herself. "It's life, sugar," AJ chuckled airily. "Always gonna be another road. Another obstacle." "Ain't that the truth," Rainbow mumbled. "Then let's pass over this one as quickly as possible," Twilight clipped.
