@Auguste Comte and Positivism by John Stuart MILL | Philosophy | Full Audiobook | Part 3
Comte or Isidore Marie Auguste François Xavier Comte was a French thinker who established the train of praxeology and the precept of positivism. He is in some cases viewed as the main thinker of science in the advanced feeling of the term. Impacted by the idealistic communist Henri Saint-Simon, Comte built up the positive rationality trying to cure the social disquietude of the French Revolution, requiring another social tenet in light of the sciences. Comte was a noteworthy impact on nineteenth century thought, affecting the work of social scholars, for example, Karl Marx, John Stuart Mill, and George Eliot His idea of sociologie and social evolutionism set the tone for early social scholars and anthropologists, for example, Harriet Martineau and Herbert Spencer, advancing into current scholastic human science exhibited by Émile Durkheim as functional and target social research. Comte's social speculations finished in his "Religion of Humanity", which foretold the improvement of non-mystical religious humanist and mainstream humanist associations in the nineteenth century. Comte may have instituted the word altruisme (philanthropy)
