I haven't stopped editing, it's just that college and life has been taking most of my time I guess. But I finally finished my second year of the degree/career I'm studying so YEY! This is for the lovelies xFrostedMoonlight and SoEurekax, who host together the Deaf Mep DRAW WITH ME. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of this proyect. Mood: Angst and longing to be together Story: 1) We see a drawing of Moana. Merida is drawing the last lines (see her face reflected on the wall) as she noticed that Moana is upset. 2) Merida tries to cheer her up, writting the words "We'll make it through this" next to the drawing she was making. Moana turns around to read the words however she can't find the strengh to smile. 3)They both then remember when they first met as childs and how they tried to touch each other only finding a cold transparent wall with no doors to go through. 4) Back to the present, both reach their hands -just like when they were kids- to touch a drawing of them together (which would be their wish) as they break down to cry. Still with their hands on the wall, they let themselves slide down to the floor and touch their foreheads to the wall. Moana looks up just to see her lover devastated and hopeless with just too much pain to keep going on like everything is fine. 5) As a new day begins, we get to see some of the things they have shared. Maybe that light gives them hope again, or maybe they just forget about their dreams... __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Other Notes : I pretend to make a longer version of this. I had way more ideas- for example: middle Moana watching little Merida from the distance while going on a walk with her parents.... and also a scene in which both they would desperately try to break the glass....- but not enough time in the mep to include them all (we are supposed to make an eight seconds edit. Although this here is longer since when I added the muisic, to make the beating fix I decided to include two moving images (one at the beginning and another one at the end) which won't probably make it to the version I'll send to the hosters.. so that my part in the mep last eight seconds xDD I had wanted to play with reflection effects and changes of perspective/depth (focus/blur) for a while. And now I'm done xP Can we talk about how cute do Moana and Merida look together??! It's just soo sweet! I have only found two videos with them for now (if want to check them out I'll leave a link in a comment below).
