First location, the Lake Agnes Tea House, located above Moraine lake about 3.7km. You'll pass Mirror lake as well which is amazing! When you arrive at the tea house, not only will you be greeted by a stunning sunrise over a foggy valley, you will see the lake, surrounded by mountains, crystal clear and perfectly reflecting. Luckily if you get to the top a little before sunrise you'll basically be alone (it fills up FAST after 8am). The tea house opens almost an hour later and then your tongue will come in contact with the most amazing liquid (aside from coffee) in the world. The tea house was built in 1901 and hasn't changed a bit.When they open it's a mad house, so be ready to get a seat. The prices aren't very expensive either. Caution. IT"S FREEZING UP THERE! Next is Peyto lake. The bluest lake in the Rocky Mountains. The view from above is fantastic and majestic, however if you want to escape the tourism and actually work, head down to the left side of the lake, where the glacier runoffs are. It's 5km down and 5km up, and not gonna lie it's hard climbing. Take the afternoon and don't rush yourself.
