However, there are also many testimonials of people who seem to visualize the same things but do not see the same success. How can we correctly use visualization so that it brings success? When we learn a skill, we spend a significant portion of time learning what not to do, as opposed to learning what to do. Our brains learn which actions produce incorrect results. Visualization helps us to perform something perfectly in our minds, suppressing the tendency toward incorrect actions. This helps us to be able to physically suppress these actions when performing the skill.
