On their 50th Anniversary, HotWheels India decided to build a life-sized, drivable hotwheel car. For the same, Hindustan Motors' Contessa was chosen as the donor vehicle and approximately ₹3lakhs were spent on it. Result was, replica of a 1970 Camaro based HotWheels model, which is showcased on events. This is the only life-size HotWheel in India produced till date. But the company is planning to produce more!
