Autoblog's video: The VW ID Buzz is production-ready

The Volkswagen ID. Buzz electric microbus revival has finally been revealed in production form. The two versions shown so far are the short-wheelbase, two-row passenger version, and the ID. Buzz Cargo commercial van. These two models will go on sale in Europe toward the end of this year, and a long-wheelbase, three-row version will be revealed next year. That three-row version is what will come to the U.S. in 2024. The van is based on the MEB platform shared by the ID.3 and ID.4, and it uses the same 82-kWh battery pack and 201-horsepower rear motor, which powers the rear wheels. The design is clearly closely related to the 2017 concept, though the interior is more of a van version of the modern VW interior design. Pricing has yet to be announced, which is understandable considering the ID. Buzz doesn't go on sale here for a couple years yet.
