for more videos.... Mahindra has started working on the new model. The new SUV will be styled by Italian design house – Pininfarina, SsangYong and Mahindra’s in-house design team. Speaking to media, Goenka, said, “For every vehicle that Mahindra develops, we will seek three proposals for its design. One each from Ssangyong, Pininfarina and our team.” The new Thar will be built on all-new platform, which will be compatible to the upcoming safety norms. This platform will also be compatible to petrol and electric powertrains. Some of the major changes will include new front and rear bumpers, strong beltline, flared wheel arches, new aggressive grille with large LED headlamps and new tail-lights.
