We all know, that the Jaguar F-Type - in any trim, with any engine, is a rapid automobile - but just how quick is it? According to Jaguar themselves, the P450 variant can sprint from zero to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 4.6 seconds! Judging from our well calibrated bottom, we felt it was quicker than that - so Automotive Affairs decided to test the claims, and see how quick it really is! The end result surprised us, because it is actually quite a bit quicker than the factory has claimed - we got a remarkable 4.24 second run. Watch the video and see it for yourselves! The 2022 Jaguar F-Type P450 is powered by a supercharged 5.0L V8 that produces 444 hp and 428 lb-ft of torque. Power is fed to all-wheels (although, a rear-wheel drive model is also available) via an eight-speed automatic transmission. Top speed is electronically limited to 285 km/h.
