Believe it or not, but this is the 20th car we've put through our Real World Acceleration Test. Meet the 2020 Mazda3 - which is the same as the 2019 model. The tester is in the sedan body style and is in GT trim, which means a 2.5L inline-four cylinder engine that is good for 186 hp and 186 lb-ft of torque. The tester also had the optional all-wheel drive system ( which is an extra $1,700 in Canada ) and that means also a six-speed automatic transmission - no manual gearbox with all-wheel drive. This is a very nice car, with an interior that can shame most cars costing twice as much. Price, you ask? As tested, this vehicle came to $32,000 - which is a lot for a compact car, but trust us, spend a day or so with this car, and you'll see why it is worth the money! But, how quick is it?
