Avyris's video: Speedpainting in Photoshop CS4- Through the Gates

I don't expect you guys to understand this one. It's completely open to interpretation, and I personally welcome you to it. Contrary to popular belief, a "speed painting" is a painting or drawing done in the interest of time, done quickly and with haste. They tend to be more loose and general than true paintings, or less accurate in terms of anatomy, lighting and composition... all because they are done quickly and with speed. Not every piece of artwork that is recorded and then sped up is a "speed painting". The term "speed painting" existed long before youtube and screen recorders, so it does not apply to such things. Just for you all to know. The technique I used here, especially in the trees, was heavily inspired by my bb Kaylink and her fantastic Lurker speedpaint. Please do take some time to view it.
