En juin 2020, dix danseurs-chorégraphes venus de 8 pays africains auraient dû se retrouver au Théâtre Paris-Villette pour la deuxième édition du festival Génération A dans le cadre de la saison Africa 2020. Bloqués à des milliers de kilomètres les uns des autres, ils ont créé à distance une chorégraphie en relais. Comme une correspondance. Comme un avant-goût de leurs retrouvailles en Juin 2021. La bande sonore de cette correspondance est signée Awa Ly avec le titre AHEAD extrait de son nouvel album Safe and Sound.
