I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed without general anesthesia (just local anesthetic)! I was completely awake/conscious. We did 3 rounds of numbing agent/local anesthesia. The oral surgeon used a needle for this - this was honestly more painful than getting my wisdom teeth out/the recovery itself 😂 Please let me know if you have any questions!!
