Ayanabha Ghosh's video: FIRST Run after Lockdown : Chennai Express back on track as New Tinsukia - Tambaram Special

15930 Dibrugarh - Tambaram (LHB) Express, has started its operation after COVID-19 lockdown as 05930 New Tinsukia - Tambaram Special. But due to the deployment of Zero Based Time Table (ZBTT), this train has started running via Bogibeel bridge instead of its old route. Also, amid lockdown, the electrification work between Malda Town and New Jalpaiguri has been completed. So this train has got a Howrah based WAP-5 i.e. electric loco instead of diesel loco. Old Route and Timings : The original train (15929) used to depart from Dibrugarh [DBRG] at 23:55 hrs. on every Sunday and used to reach Tambaram [TBM] on every Wednesday at 20:50 hrs. The counterpart 15929 from TBM used to depart at 21:45 hrs. on every Thursday and used to reach DBRG at 18:00 hrs. on every Sunday. After departing DBRG, it used to take the route NTSK-SLGR-LMG-GHY-RNY. New Route and Timings : As per the ZBTT, the special train has started running via Bogibeel bridge and the originating station has been changed from DBRG to New Tinsukia [NTSK]. The train will depart NTSK at 6:30 hrs. on every Monday and will reach TBM at 21:25 hrs. on every Wednesday. The counterpart will start from TBM at 18:55 hrs. on every Thursday and will reach NTSK at 7:55 hrs. on every Sunday. The train is now taking the route NTSK-DBRG-DMC-HMY-RPAN-RNY.
