Allama Anwar Shah Kashmiri (R.A) Biography Life Story Life History Urdu Hindi BY AZMI VOICE ========================================================================= Muḥammad Anwar Shāh ibn Mu‘az̤z̤am Shāh Kashmīrī (known with honorifics as Sayyid Muḥammad Anwar Shāh ibn Mu‘aẓẓam Shāh al-Kashmīrī al-Hindī; 16 November 1875 – 28 May 1933) was a Kashmiri Islamic scholar. He taught at several institutions, including the Darul Uloom Deoband, which contains a gate named in his honor.[1] He authored books on Islam published in Arabic and Persian. He was first Principal at Madrasa Aminia and served Darul Uloom Deoband as Principal for twelve years Anwar Shah Kashmiri was born in Kashmir on 27 Shawwal 1292 AH (1875) in a Sayyid family. Aged four, he started reading the Quran under the instruction of his father, Muazzam Ali Shah.[2] In 1889, he relocated to Deoband, where he studied at the Darul Uloom for three years. In 1892, he moved to Darul Uloom Deoband where he studied with Mahmud Hasan Deobandi and others.
