The Amravati police seized 61 kg of silver from the Maharashtra State Transport Board's Shivshahi luxury bus going from Pune to Nagpur. The value of the seized silver is around Rs 42 lakh. In fact, the bus driver and the conductor got some suspicion after seeing the gesture of the passenger in the bus, after which the driver and conductor decided together that they would take the bus to the police. He did not take the bus directly to the depot and took it to the police station and inside the police station stopped the bus and told the whole thing to the police. On the information of the bus driver and conductor, the police checked and 61 kg silver ornaments were found in the sacks. The police did not receive any slip or purchase receipt of silver jewelery. Then when the police questioned the suspect, he confessed to the smuggling of silver. Amarvati's Fazerpura police is investigating the case.
