In the Delhi Cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister's Science Talent Examination Scheme (Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha Scheme) has been approved for giving a scholarship of Rs 5,000 to one thousand meritorious students of class 9th. Announcing scholarship for meritorious students of class 9th, Delhi government said that through this scheme, efforts will be made to promote scientific temper among children. According to the Delhi government, 1000 meritorious students of class 9th of Delhi will get the benefit of this scholarship of Rs 5,000. Under this, students getting 60% marks in general class and 55% in SC, ST, OBC, Divyang class in 8th class will be able to participate. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that our government has taken these important steps to promote the meritorious and talented students. Students are the future of our country. Later, they will become scientists, engineers, doctors and architects etc. and will illuminate the name of our country.
