"Data Insecurity" is a short film looking at what might happen in our society when a curious individual crosses paths with someone who doesn't take online security seriously. This is based in a little truth. According to an Ofcom report, almost two-thirds of users employ the same passwords for most or all websites and this can lead to the "domino effect" - a situation where one account, once compromised, leaves nearly every other online account open for plundering. I'm Alex - a full-time scientist/TV worker. I love exploring how we interact with science and technology.
