Dr. MOSHARRAF ALAM is working as an Assistant Professor at Zakir Husain Delhi College, University of Delhi. He has completed his Ph. D on the topic “Discourse of Human Rights and Democracy in Iraq” and M. Phil on the topic “Human Rights Situation in Post-Saddam Iraq” from the Centre for West Asian Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia. He has published a research paper on “Human Rights Laws and Institution in New Democratic Iraq: An Assessment,” International Journal of Applied Social Science, and contributed a chapter with the title “Human Rights of Minorities in Contemporary Iraq”, in Hemanyun Akhtar Nazmi (ed.), Contemporary West Asia: The Emerging Scenario.
