Too much strength training can make you too stiff and tight. But boxing in the water can make your punches more fluid. Here I'm working five different 4-punch combos using the following numbers chart: 1- Jab 2- Cross 3- Lead Hook 4- Rear Hook 5- Lead Uppercut 6- Rear Uppercut Going waist-deep allows you to train the pivoting feet and rotating hips action to get more of your bodyweight behind every punch. Going shoulders-deep provides resistance for your arms to increase core activation. You can even add water bells to increase strength, speed & power on land.
