Jahrelang wurde er eigentlich gar nicht so richtig beachtet. Er war halt immer da. Nur der Autofahrer an der roten Ampel zwischen Ost- und Nordring schaute mal länger drauf, auf den Bahnhof Nord, der über 100 Jahre einer der zentralen Orte in Bochum war. Jetzt will ihn der Besitzer abreißen lassen und auf einmal findet der alte Bahnhof eine öffentliche Beachtung, die er seit seiner Stillegung im Jahr 1979 nicht mehr gekannt hat.
