BOLDtalks's video: Breathing Numbers - Muna Harib - BOLDtalks 2014

In May 2013, Muna Harib traveled alone to Jordan. The task she had appointed herself was to find and meet with Syrian refugees, as a fact finding mission to discover what was really happening. What started as a story-tellying project has turned into a full-scale humanitarian aid project in a mere six months, and the birth of Breathing Numbers. Breathing Numbers is a project first initiated by Muna Harib, in order to document the lives of Syrian refugees in the Al Zaatari Camp in Jordan. From there Breathing Numbers started supporting specific medical and humanitarian cases with direct assistance, e.g. the settlement of medical bills directly with the treating hospital or clinic. Supported by a team of friends around Muna, Breathing Numbers is a growing movement and aims to achieve Registered Charity status in 2014.
