BOXPARK X Dear Londoners, Our brilliant, ever-growing hospitality and retail industries are facing extremely testing times, and now as a result of the enforced Government closure, we have no choice but to temporarily shut our sites in Shoreditch, Croydon and Wembley from midnight on Friday 20 March. I’d like to emphasise that BOXPARK's success and popularity would be nothing without our loyal customers, fantastic traders, and hardworking staff. Like you, we are hopeful that our closure will only be for a short time. This is undoubtedly a challenging time for our traders and we are determined to do everything we can to support them throughout this crisis. With that in mind, BOXPARK has committed to the following: - No rent or services fees will be charged to any of our tenants during our period of closure - We are working closely with the food delivery companies to boost the online presence of our traders on their platforms, and offering additional support to get our traders onto those platforms - Running delivery-only kitchens for food operators that wish to remain open The Government this week confirmed they will provide business loans and cash grants to help small businesses in the hospitality sector which face closure, postpone VAT payments and a guarantee to step in and protect the wages of those who may lose their jobs. We are also working with each of our traders to ensure they know how to apply for this Government support and get access to it quickly if they need to. We are lucky; BOXPARK is a pioneering and successful social dining and retail destination which puts us in a unique position of being a resilient and financially strong business in the hospitality sector, underpinned by great people. Let’s remember that this is only a temporary situation and we’re confident we’ll be back soon to welcome everyone home. We are all in this together!
