On the day of Sunday, May 6th, 2018 my buddy Andrew a couple months came up with the awesome idea of having a Photo Charter all planned out by him along the Ex-SEPTA West Chester Branch now leased between Glen Mills and West Chester to the West Chester Railroad. After their RS-18u has been OOS for a while they wanted to welcome it back and ring it in with a Railfan Photo Charter. The Charter itself was a success in my opinion and I enjoyed every second of it! Between 12-4 we were able to squeeze in a bunch of spots to have Photo Runby's at. The Weather also was originally calling for Rain all day so after not getting one drop of Rain it also helped. is an Ex-Canadian Pacific Alco RS-18u now owned by West Chester which they also own a few other Alco's, a GP9, and a GP38. The stretch of Track begins in West Chester and the Railroad "Ends" at Glen Mills. But technically if you continued down past Glen Mills you eventually would meet up with now SEPTA's R3 Media Branch which would bring you back to Philadelphia. The portion between Elwyn and Glen Mills is currently in bad shape but in the not to distant future plans are looking bright for a new Connection at Wawa with SEPTA's new station being over Rt 1 Baltimore Pike and being able to connect with the WCRR.
