BRDG _'s video: VRDG H 2016 - full version

VRDG+H @ DMM VR THEATER, JAPAN (Mar 26, 2016) DMM VR THEATER, where we held the VRDG+H in the past, is closed today, on April 30th, 2020. It was a great theater with experimental systems. We won't be able to play our performances under such systems anymore. We would like to release a full version of the performance by DUB-Russell x Keijiro Takahashi, that we have received requests from many people. ------ title : Something Like Me / About Seeing Things (私のようなもの / 見ることについて) artist : Akihiko Taniguchi produce : BRDG / HIP LAND MUSIC brdg.tokyo/ / hipland.co.jp/ ------ 1. Something Like Me / About Seeing Things 2. This video is rendering in real time and it is synchronized with real world time. This is 3D scanned [me] and its texture that covers the surface of my body was scanned in 10th February 2016. Hence, I am, as 26th March 2016 me, controlling 10th February 2016 me. 3. When you see mirror, you cannot see mirror itself. If you try not seeing at mirror itself, you cannot see reflected visual of the mirror. Trying to see something means that trying not seeing another things. Therefore, we must be into the mirror world, even if it is doubtful, in order to see what it is. 4. Computer interface is reflected result of calculation and we can enhance computational efficiency by saving invisible parts rendering. There are technics for deleting distant object and omit the object’s back which is not visible from player’s perspective in 3D computer game world. 5. Seeing things are not composed of being positively doing it but it might be the place where I am at intersection between separated times informed by light.
