Back Pack Hack's video: Open Message To Viewers

A question for my viewers, plus a video for those inquiring about doing product reviews. 1. My review will only be in the form of a video on my YouTube channel. 2. The product must be one I feel comfortable with testing and reviewing. For example, I don't fish, so I won't test and review a fishing reel. 3. The product must be one that will be of interest to my viewers. I will not review a couch or pet food. 4. I do not accept free products with the expectation of positive reviews. I will be brutally honest. 5. I will test the product to verify it's stated specifications (claimed output, weight & dimensions, battery run time etc) as best I can. 6a. If a product makes a public claim on durability (drop tests, hammer strikes, waterproofing and the like), I will duplicate those tests as best I can. 6b. If a product exceeds it's stated durability claim, I will continue to test it to failure. 6c. Any products that survive and are still serviceable will be intentionally destroyed unless they're cosmetically acceptable. If the latter, they will be donated to a local charity. 7. I do not offer overall 'star' or 'x out of y' ratings. I will list both the pros and cons of any tested product and let the viewer make their own decision. 8. I will not pre-purchase any item with the promise I will be reimbursed after a review is posted. 9. The company offering the item for review must have a website, with a physical address and phone number listed. 10. I will accept viewer give-aways, direct from the manufacturer or supplier. 11. I will not do sponsorships. I've seen too many of those backfire. 12. Other stipulations or restrictions might apply depending on the product.
