Backpacking With Woodglue's video: A 4 460 Training Hike San Jacinto Mtn

This training hike on Mt San Jack took my Son, Bigfoot and I from Marion Mtn Trailhead, up to the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT mm 185.1) to Deer Springs Trail at mm 185.7 and upto the peak at 10,834’! After that, we headed back down the mountain toward our car. This trip occurred this past 06/29, it was 14.25 miles in total with a staggering 4,460 ft of climbing! A lack of Oxygen taxed our bodies as we climbed. At one point, Bigfoot commented, “I don’t think we’ve ever moved this slowly”. I parked my car at the Marion Mtn Trailhead outside of Idyllwild, Ca. A Adventure Pass is not required here. Nothing was wrong with the car when I returned. A Permit is required on your person as you climb into the San Jack Forest, we got ours at the ranger station before driving up to the trailhead.
